I love a ramble, and I love this! I like that Parvati and Padma kind of flipped in terms of dependency, and I get the feeling that though they may have been slightly at odds sometimes in their school years in terms of maybe defining themselves against each other (which is natural with siblings, and probably especially so with identical twins), they ultimately always still had each others' backs: like how Parvati immediately said Padma didn't have a date for the Yule Ball yet, and got her a Beauxbatons partner, and invited her to the DA! So Padma would definitely have been there for her when she needed her. :)
I think that Padma may have had a little initial jealousy when Parvati and Lavender became close, but when she realized she wasn't being replaced she came to like and then love Lavender as a sister as well.
I know Padma went back and finished school but I'm not sure what she's doing workwise. I'm considering textiles? Idk. Taking Potions turned into making dyes turned into kind of artistic stuff but maybe also fashion? I'm still thinking it over. But she's proud of Parvati for being settled and stable and finding a way to do what she loves.
